West End legends join the cast of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels The acclaimed new musical of 2014, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is currently playing to sold-out audiences at the Savoy Theatre in the heart of London’s West End. The show now welcomes two new stars to the stage, musical theatre legends Bonnie Langford and Gary Wilmot will be high-kicking their way into the production from 16 September 2014. They join the current cast of Robert Lindsay, Katherine Kingsley and West End newcomer Rufus Hound.

Bonnie Langford takes over the role of Muriel Eubanks from Samantha Bond and will soon be waltzing her way through the French Riviera on her glamorous quest for love. Langford has stared in some of the world’s best-loved musicals both on Broadway and in the West End, musicals such as Chicago, Cats, Gypsy, Gone with the Wind, Guys and Dolls, Spamalot and Sweet Charity.

Gary Wilmot will play the character of Andre Thibault, the Chief of Police and right hand man to Robert Lindsay’s top conman Lawrence Jameson. Wilmot has led the cast of such West End hits as The Invisible Man, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Copacabana, Me And My Girl and most recently the incredibly successful transfer of The Pajama Game at the Shaftesbury Theatre.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels opened back in February 2014 to overwhelming critical and public acclaim. The production has since been seen by over 200,00 people and continues to grow in popularity, having extended booking until 7 March 2015! So if you plan on getting your hands on tickets, do so sharpish, especially now the amazing new cast has been announced.
